Wow!

Today’s “Soleful Sunday” class was our fourth class in a row to have around 25 students show up! That’s AMAZING in terms of community interest/support for this program but – wow, slightly overwhelming for some of our students and families, and okay – a little overwhelming for myself as well (four big classes in a row!)

This has NOT happened before with Mini BREAKS. While we get a huge turnout every now and then, we’ve been consistently averaging about 10-17 students per class for the past year. I thought the first two big classes were just coincidences, but after the third big class the thought occurred to me that maybe it’s time to add another time slot… and so we did! (Check out our last post to read about the “Super Saturday Morning” class, starting 2/1/14!)

But after today’s class, I decided I wanted to offer a class that was guaranteed to be smaller for families whose children would benefit from a class of less people and more one-on-one time w/ me. This is what I came up w/ as a possible solution…

 The “Small Saturday Morning” class will take place the last two Saturdays of each month, starting February. Each class will be limited to 15 students and sign-ups/payment will occur online at http://minibreaksdance.bigcartel.com/. However, if there are less than 10 students signed up by the purchase expiration date (two days before the class), that class will be canceled.
