Since The Beacon Studio will be undergoing construction in the unforeseeable future, Mini BREAKS dance classes will be popping up in a variety of different spaces in the next few months or so – starting with the historical Washington Hall in Seattle and Cornerstone Studio in Bellevue next month! Two things that we think families will love about the new classes are:
- Free parking at both the Washington Hall and Cornerstone Studio locations
- No registration fees for students/families new to each space
Sign-ups for the pop-ups will also be different from the traditional drop-in Mini BREAKS sessions at The Beacon. For “Pop-up Mini BREAKS” classes – adults will have to sign-up and pay for class online at $15/class per student, and depending on location/day of class, there will be a max capacity of 15-20 students. That’s great news for students who do not enjoy huge class turnouts!
Fall quarter Mini BREAKS classes at The Beacon have traditionally ranged from 4 students to 35+ students in one class the past few years – we could never predict how many students would show up. The possible downside of limiting class sizes is that spaces will fill up FAST.
